The Monte de Luz vineyard was planted in 2000. After two unfruitful voyages, Jean Jacques Lesgourgues, proprietor of the Laubade Armagnacs and other wine domains in France , accompanied by Gabriel Gallot, reputed geologist, returned to Uruguay to discover one of the most unique terroir in the world.

A moderate, atlantic climate on shistous soil that was found thanks to the Carquera, a local plant growing on this soil and consequently the name of this cuvee.

Domaine Monte de Luz - Cabernet Sauvignon Great ruby colour. Intense nose of red fruit with vivid black currant, lovely raspberry and notes of flesh plums.
